STATEMENT OF PRIVACY PRACTICES

The following is Humetrix’s full statement of privacy practices for its SOS UK mobile applications.

Humetrix is dedicated to protecting the privacy rights of users of its SOS UK mobile application (the "App"). Our policies with respect to the handling of personal information with respect to the App are described within this Privacy Statement.

We may change, add, or remove portions of this Statement of Privacy Practices at any time, and such changes shall become effective immediately upon posting. A USER’S CONTINUED USE OF THE APP FOLLOWING THE POSTING OF CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY WILL MEAN THAT THE USER ACCEPTS THOSE CHANGES.

Information We Collect

Automatically-Collected Information

Humetrix automatically collects technical data and related information about the user’s device, operating system and application software that is gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of application updates, product support and other services to the user of the App. This information does not identify the user.

Humetrix automatically collects anonymous information about the use of the App, such as information indicating that the App has been downloaded. The data is collected by a third party, Flurry Inc. (www.flurry.com) on Humetrix’s behalf on an aggregate, anonymous basis, which means that no personally identifiable information is associated with the data. This data helps us improve our content and the overall user-experience of the App. The information is not shared with other organizations for their independent use.

User-Provided Information

By default, Humetrix stores de-identified personal information that the user provides into and through the App. This may include de-identified demographic information (e.g., first name, but not last name), information about the user’s health care providers, health insurance, medical conditions and medications. This information resides on the Humetrix’s server. The user has the option to unmask personally identifiable information and publish that to the Humetrix’s server; in these cases, Humetrix stores personally identifiable information on our secure server. Users can re-mask personally identifiable information at any time and re-publish the de-identified information to Humetrix’s secure server.

Information We Do Not Collect
This Application is not supported via advertising and does not use the data it collects for advertising purposes.

The App does not collect personally identifiable information about a user’s online activities over time and across third-party Web sites or online services. The App does not collect information about the location of a user’s mobile device.

Third Party Access to User Information
We will share user information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this Privacy Statement. We may disclose User-Provided and Automatically-Collected Information:

Users may share User-Provided Information with the third parties authorized by the user, at the user’s discretion.

ADDITIONALLY, WHEN A USER ENTERS PERSONAL INFORMATION INTO THE APP, ANY THIRD PARTY WITH ACCESS TO THE QR CODE AND PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (“PIN”) GENERATED BY THE APP WILL BE ABLE TO SEE ALL OF THE PERSONAL INFORMATION THE USER HAS ENTERED OR SELECTED TO BE SAVED TO THE USER’S EMERGENCY RECORD AT ANY TIME BY SCANNING THE QR CODE AND ENTERING THE PIN ON THE HUMETRIX WEBSITE.

Data Retention
Humetrix will retain User-Provided Information until the user deletes or edits the User-Provided Information in the user’s SOS UK Record. A user may also contact Humetrix at the contact information provided below to request the deletion of User-Provided Information. Once such information is deleted, Humetrix will not retain a copy of such User Provided Information, except as required by law.

User Management
A user may edit or delete any and all of the User-Provided Information through the App. Please note that some or all of the User-Provided Information may be required in order for the App to function properly, and we may be required by law to retain certain information.

Children
We do not use the App to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without the parent or guardian’s consent, he or she should contact us at support@humetrix.com and we will delete such information from our files.

Security
Humetrix takes the security of our User’s information seriously. Humetrix takes such actions as are reasonably necessary to prevent unauthorized access to User Provided Information. Humetrix uses security and/or encryption technology, including SSL encrypted endpoints using the HTTPS protocol, to secure User Provided Information when it collects such information over the App or transmits such information to a browser in response to receipt of a valid QR Code and PIN. Humetrix restricts access to User Provided Information on the Humetrix servers and secures the content by use of encryption technologies and other security methods. However, Humetrix cannot guarantee that these practices will prevent every unauthorized attempt to access, use, or disclose User-Provided Information. For example, User-Provided Information saved in the App’s SOS UK record may be accessed by an unauthorized party if the user’s smartphone or tablet is lost or stolen or if the QR Code and PIN generated by the App are otherwise made available to an unauthorized party. Users enter individually identifiable information into the App at their own risk and should take appropriate steps to maintain the security of their information and the device.
